Hundreds Celebrate Healthy Kids & Families with the YMCA

YMCA Healthy Kids Day was held on Saturday April 22nd, 2012 at our North Branch location in Celina. Hundreds of kids, moms, dads, and grandparents converged at the YMCA for fun filled activities throughout the morning….and it was all FREE!

The YMCA wishes to thank our 2012 Corporate Sponsors Grand Lake Health, and Mercer Health for their financial support of YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2012. YMCA Healthy Kids Day is part of YMCA Activate America, an innovative public health initiative of the YMCA movement that is making healthy living a reality for millions of American. By celebrating health and wellness of young people through a variety of fun, physical activities, YMCA Healthy Kids Day encourages kids and their families nationwide to stay active, connected and healthy. The YMCA Healthy Kids Day event is celebrated annually. Activities at participating YMCA’s will vary and may include games, sports, health screenings and more.

NEW EQUIPMENT & UPGRADES

Our North Branch and South Branch facilities have just upgraded our resistance line of exercise machines replacing the older Stairmaster and Bodymaster lines with 13 new Precor S-Series machines at each branch. The North Branch is also replacing its Men’s Sauna unit with a new one due to be completed in November.

For every new YMCA membership you bring in to the Auglaize/Mercer Counties YMCA, you will get a refund back to you, equal of one month of your own YMCA membership rate. For example, if you bring in a friend and he/she joins the Auglaize/Mercer Counties YMCA as either an Adult or Family member; you will be refunded the value of one month of your own Auglaize/Mercer Counties YMCA membership.
