On March 15, 2013 Mercer Savings Bank donated $125 to the Auglaize/Mercer Counties Family YMCA. Pictured are Mercer Savings Bank’s Loan Officer Lu Grunden and Auglaize/Mercer Counties YMCA Chief Executive Officer, Allen Baskett. “The Auglaize/Mercer County Family “Y” has been serving the residents of Auglaize and Mercer Counties since 1983” says Baskett. “This gift go to our “Sustaining Our Mission” Annual Fund program will be used to help provide financial assistance for individuals and families who want to participate in YMCA programs and services but cannot afford to pay the full cost themselves”. Mercer Savings Bank will donate $125 to 125 different charities for 125 days giving back to the communities that have contributed to Mercer Savings Bank’s 125 years of excellence.
The YMCA is an inclusive organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility.
